FACT stands for Formula Analysis & Calculation Tool. It grew out of daily formulation work in the poultry feed industry.

Dr. Waseem Akram created FACT to make least-cost formulation fast, exact and easy to check. FACT began as his own Excel workbook and grew with the needs of the people who use it. Today more than 70 users formulate with FACT.
The new FACT is a standalone app for Windows, Mac and iPhone. It keeps the formulation logic that FACT users know, and its results were checked against the workbook it replaces. Microsoft Excel is no longer needed.

Users of the FACT workbook can bring everything with them. With a key that allows Import Data, FACT reads your FACT .xlsm file once: ingredients, nutrient values, plants, profiles, price lists, models, ratios, selections, current rations and stock projection. Your saved rations in FEED STORE open as they are.
